Fields of Green
She laid down in a field of green,
and there she spawned another being.
A little boy of seven pounds,
gasps for breath upon the ground.
Tiny lungs expand with air,
as she looks on with a frightened stare.
Fourteen years old and all alone,
terrified she must get home.
The secret she had hid for months,
was left behind beneath the sun.
The vastness of the fields terrain,
flooded fast with grief and pain.
A miracle misunderstood,
no one heard and no one would.
