Sadness is like madness; weddings are like funerals; death is just another way of writing life; stupidity is like genius; love is like law or lawyers; money is like paper; names are like name tags; clothes are like a personality disorder or anorexia; Mondays are like Sundays but backwards; eyes are like doors; birds are like music boxes; music is like literature; literature is like Atlantis; sex is magic; a kiss is like watching rain; pain is like an alarm clock; a good book is like summer wine; home is like heaven; waiting is like winter; experience is like a fork in the road; frogs are like writers; horses are like opera singers; pigs are like football players; sons are like daughters; mothers are like fathers, education is like ying and like yang; smoking is like cognitive dissonance; something is like being although not quite there yet; jail is like London; honor is like the first poem you ever wrote; language is like salvation; rocks are like security guards; perfection is like mailing a letter to God; earth’s moonlight is like insurance for tomorrow’s return.
